How to improve emissions reporting accuracy using ABB’s zirconia oxygen analyzers

Controlling flue stack emissions has become a key requirement for ensuring that the release of gases such as SO2, NOx, carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide is maintained within the limits of strict global legislation.

Continuous Emissions Monitoring (CEM) systems help to keep track of gases to ensure that they are maintained within the correct limits.

When monitoring stack emissions, the sample taken must be representative of the overall material being measured, with the constituent parts of the sample being reported to a normalized set of conditions.

CEM systems will typically incorporate some form of oxygen detection equipment such as ABB’s Endura AZ20 oxygen analyzer system which can be used to provide the benchmark for normalization.
