INTENSIVE CARE NURSERY – Brief Look – Transcutaneous Oxygen Monitor – Fremont Med Center
In 1985, viewers briefly explored the Fremont Medical Center intensive care nursery in Yuba City, California. Viewers were introduced to some specialized equipment and an oxygen monitoring device that allowed doctors and nurses to check the oxygen levels of newborn babies without the need for needles. In 2016, the nursery is being moved from the Fremont Medical Center in Yuba City, California, to the new Rideout Hospital new major expansion in Marysville, California. Rideout Hospital has become a major regional hospital and trauma center for the region and houses the delivery and newborn areas.
